^{Alfred was Born in Woodville New Zealand on the 8th of June 1888 & Died at Awapuni Hospital Palmerston North on the 10th of June 1968.}

 ^{He was cremated at Kelvin Grove Cemetery and later his ashes were placed in his wife’s Grave in the "Old Gorge Cemetery" at Woodville NZ.}

Alfred grew up & went to School in Woodville.

Alfred Married Elsie Ada Clark at Woodville?? On the ?? of ??1913 & had three children, Henry Alfred, Ronald & Mavis Elizabeth, all of whom got Married and lived in Woodville.

Alfred & Elsie were on a Dairy?? Farm situated at the corner of Ormond Road & Troup Road in Woodville.

Elsie was killed in a car Accident at age 46, after which Alfred moved to Hamilton,Rotorua & Finally Napier where he lived with his sister Maud Dobbie in Campaign Street & worked on the Railway, leaving his grown up family in Woodville.

Alf moved from Napier to Palmerston North around 1956 where his son Ronald & Daughter Mavis, lived with their Families at that time.

He first lived down Broadway Ave in a Sleepout, then moved to Brightwater Home & finally to Awapuni Hospital where he Died, leaving behind his two Sons & Daughter plus Twelve Grandchildren.
